Words That Kill

Ever since the conflict in in Iraq started the cry babies of the left have demonized the President, the military, and those who support the military. They have used all sorts of mean, spiteful, and misleading propaganda that would make any fascist like Herr Goebles of the Nazi party, very proud of them. What we have is another situation just like in Vietnam where the antics of the left supported by the left leaning news media cause our troops and their families more pain and suffering. These morons, the media included, do not realize that their protests and stupid pronouncements on the war are being used by the extremists to bolster terrorist acts. The terrorists believe, and rightly so, that all they have to do is weaken the will of the American people, as happened in Vietnam, and we will withdraw and go home. They are very afraid of awaking the "sleeping giant" as happened after the attack on Peal Harbor and launched us into WWII. They know that if this happens the Islamic murderers will be hunted down along with their state supporters and annihilated. The terrorists know they must keep the U.S. in a state of political flux so that they (the terrorists) can manipulate public opinion here at home and abroad to continue their murderous rampages.
What makes me really angry is that US citizens and the main stream news organizers are acting like Al-Jazeera TV and being facilitators of the atrocities committed by the devils of terror in Iraq and around the world. Every time a loud mouth leftist goes before a news camera it is retransmitted around the world and especially in the mid-east as a example of why the terrorists must keep up their murdering actions in order to weaken our collective political will. These murderers are NOT religious, there are filled with hate and anger. Hate and anger towards anyone who does NOT believe as they do. The Islamic murderers believe there is only one remedy for for this, conversion and compliance with their beliefs or you get executed, as we saw in the horrible videos from Afghanistan and Iraq.
These terrorists are not to be admired or supported in anyway, as some are shamefully doing in this country by denouncing our government, our military, and our way of life. As I said before I do not like war and I hate those who relish in same, but we are at war with a vicious enemy that will kill innocent school children, slaughter women and men like cattle, and torture unmercifully those who even question their beliefs.
So to all you left wing whiners I say, YOU ARE KILLING OUR TROOPS !!

Death(War) Mongers

I look at the sky and wonder if it will be blue
The same blue as the dead eyes of our children
Withering on the sands of a foreign despot.
The beast devoid of love and caring for our lives, we shiver
Knowing not the full horror of war's atrocities.
We rail and cry out at the injustice of youth cut short,
But what of the innocence of innocents not involved.
Those who are subjects of tyranny and have no voice
The poor and neglected become pawns in ghastly time.
Once more the arrogance of power is unleashed
Covering the hidden truth in a blanket of pain and death.
Presidential pompous perversity overshadowed by war,
Another smoke screen deployed in the distraction.
Lives sacrificed for the errant behavior of a penis mentality?
Unable to control the destiny of human nakeness,
No more sensibilities, cowering in the dark hallways.
Death now comes stalking our youth for the sins
Our fathers visited upon the distant innocents
Unable to defend themselves against the greedy
Hydrocarbon hawkers of mobility and energy.
Whose son or daughter will be the first to die
For these shallow things that know not life or love.
The love of our parents desire to see their fruit
Nurturing in the sun instead of rotting in the sand.
Future hopes all hanging on the stupidity of the male
Arrogance steeped in grievous treachery
Placing our nations fruit on the table of death
Offered up as a substitute for past ignorance
Feeding the monster of future greed and need.
Holy men and women pray that the asinine leader
Will give way to God's own needs for his children.
Needs that do not satisfy the war mongers lust
For military industrial profits rising on a blood sea
Swollen by our nations children and those abroad.
How many will have to die before we come to our senses
Exercising the will to the stop the insanity before madness
Consumes us all in a black cloud of death and destruction.
The satanic will is still in play while we waffle and whither,
Will we let ours and their children live, or die along with them?

PS I wrote this as you can see in 1998 when I thought the world was about to embark on a new fight over the middle east. It came later though again in Iraq. If you read it careful this is about both sides of the conflict. I hate war but most of all I hate those who relish in and exploit the profit from same. My deepest feelings though are with the troops and their families, being ex-military myself I know what they're going through.

Social Disconnect

Now is the time for all politicians to come their senses
The taxpayers are tired of their expenses.
The real cost of government is too easy to hide
The people are weary of letting them slide.
Excuses and finger pointing the main activity
While the money to special interests flows with proclivity.
Be not surprised when the bank goes bust
The tools of industry coated with rust.
The environment intolerable to man or beast
Those charged with responsibility care the least.
The martyrs of humanity thrown to the fire
The populations patience beginning to tire.
Our main goal seems to be happiness and fun
Some cannot find it so they take up a gun.
Postal mentality all the rage
The middle class trapped in a financial cage.
Basic needs exploited for wealth
Sold to the highest bidder the best of health.
No need to worry the governments say
They promise salvation that never comes our way.
The need for explanations, tiresome and bored
Anything, anything to stifle the horde.
When does it become the need for greed?
The rest of us pleading to stop the bleed.
Tales out of school told for the press
The knowledge gained is even less.
The known and the unknown one being the other
The hypocrisy of killing our sister or brother.
The punishment does not always suit the crime
Lying, stealing politicians never serve any time.
What is the difference between stealing with a suit
And the person who holds a gun to the loot?
Are they not thieves, the one and the same?
Who made up the rules for this game?
I like many are tired of the lies by the ties
The inexorable pundits defending their crimes.
If their were but one truth
It's buried in the brainwashing of our youth.
Be that as it may it will not last
For the Light will one day, come to pass.

MASS MEDIA MELANCHOLY

Tasteless tongues articulate meaningless words
Structured sentences solidify the half-truth
While empty minds fill and purge
Like a bucket with many holes.

Complacent people find fault with good
While paying homage to evil intent.
Buy a ticket to your salvation
Send more money to save the nation.

Young people have no hope of a better life
They look at the world with contempt.
Pleasure is their only escape, if they can find it,
From the moral high ground of self-righteous creeps.

Time is the real teller of truth
For many it is but the enemy of youth.
Cinema images of heros and thugs
Lulling the people with superficial hugs.

Amen brother! They say in the church of the street
To verify the pain and frustration of nothing to eat.
Souls of countless millions devoid of meaning
Wander through the ocean of inhumanity.

Pledges of health and welfare come down from on high
Mothers holding children waiting to die.
Political leaders promising a better life
While walking the edge of the devils knife.

Look to the good in mankind you say
While the media eagerly seeks out every day
The pleasures of Nosferatu live at five
Death and unhappiness attract the glass eye.

Oh but look at that one, he’s on the level
With good intentions oh yes there are several.
The knife of truth peels back the skin of reality
Only to find hypochondria and hypocrisy.

If There is A God, Abu Ammar Is Roasting In Hell!!

Another terrorist, Yasser Arafat, has passed the bounds of the earthly realm and hopefully is on his way to the Devils playpen. Already occupied, one can hope, by all the other murdering thugs who called themselves freedom fighters, soldiers for God or Allah or whatever deity or ideology. The same thugs who murdered millions in the name of some warped ideology or another. The same thugs who felt that ultimate power gave them the right to do anything they wanted and they did just that, any thing they wanted!
But I digress. The real story is about wealth and the power that goes with that wealth. Where are the billions Arafat and his cronies accepted from the other band of terrorist states and their European sympathizers. With all that money you would think that every Palestinian would be getting first rate education, modern housing, and whole host of other goodies. Yet every time we see pictures of the Palestine area it looks like a war zone. Why? Because Arafat and his gang are the modern day incarnation of the desert robbers of old with a new twist. They want more than wealth, they want the power that goes with wealth, to use as indiscriminately as they wish. Worst of all they pretend to be civilized religious pious believers. Yet they send young men and now women out to blow themselves up and as many innocent Israelis as possible. Oh yea we want to really glorify this jerk.
Thanks news media for making this murdering terrorist a tragic romantic figure who gave his all for his people. What garbage! All the American media should be ashamed and instead act like they just reported the capture and killing of a serial murderer. Anyone who pays the family of a so called "martyr" who blew up a bus load of school children is hardly anything less than a murdering terrorist. Yet with all that money floating around Palestine at one time or another it seems things could be a lot better than having the best trained and equipped military in the middle east in your back yard daily.
No, these greedy pig fornicators want to keep the people ignorant, poor, and dependent on their good graces. Then the Israelis are made out to be the bad guys and the reason all the poor Palestinians are suffering. Not of course because Arafat and his band of thieves have been stuffing their pockets with the money that could have made life for most Palestinians very cushy indeed.

Is This Our One and Only Chance at Existence?

When did you first learn that you where not here forever? Can you remember when you first encountered that which we hate to talk about? Ceasing to exist in this plane of reality? I can't remember the exact instant but I had a lot of re-enforcement in my very early years. Being in a prominent Catholic family of the diocese and the local community I went to many funerals.
I do remember though that I was extremely disappointed to find out that this exciting life I was embarking on had a terrible penalty attached. Some day some where some how that penalty would be paid. Another of life's little high points passed on to me by my very practical mother. She was never one to try and hide the truth from me in these kind of areas. Sex, that's another blog!
With all this sadness attached to the state of complete inactivity, the Catholic Church, bless them, has a humdinger of a cure for those blues. They got the life-here-after package! They have all the words and ceremony down pat. "Don't be sad, old Joe is going to a better place". I was in awe of this whole process at first; the ceremonial the music, the words of heavenly consolation and joyful expectations at being removed from the pains of this world and reborn ecstatic in a new existence, a spiritual existence. But it gets better, sometime in the future we'll be resurrected just like Jesus, whole and breathing once again!
They made it sound so good it was a wonder to me that folks did not just go do themselves in and hurry the process along. Of course that was cheating, you had to be killed by an act of God or some bad person before your soul could move on into the here-after Catholic country club.
(OT: Oh yes we had our own special part of heaven because we where the true church and everyone else were black sheep of said church. Yes they where wayward souls who had strayed from the true path who where to be pitied and prayed for in hope that they come to their senses and return to the true fold. Somehow though after Vatican II heaven got integrated in all aspects of social strata and religious belief. Of course privately we Catholics knew that we would be sitting closer to the throne so to speak regardless of who got in with us.)
So the Church's answer to the title question is: There is no "ceasing of existence" only traversing to a higher or lower plane as the case maybe, according to their definition of how you should be living your life.
My answer is: We know that matter cannot be destroyed only it's form changed. Our life force is made up of that very matter, the same that powers the universe. It stands to reason then that the life force cannot be destroyed either, just changed form and moved to another plane of existence. Whether this is conscious existence or a dream state no one knows. But remember what Einstein said about reality?

True Believers

My mother once told me that if you believe in something strongly enough that it will manifest itself. Einstein said that everything is relative from one's own point of view, i.e. the light reaching my eye is not the same light as the person standing right next to me. We also have learned that as far as we know we cannot destroy matter only change it's form.
What are the ramifications of this knowledge as pertains the current world situation? Many as I see it! If everything is relative and belief can bring on manifestations. Why wouldn't anyone with strong beliefs not follow those beliefs to any one or many conclusions. Scary and yet beautiful. A belief system can be both. The only problem is the belief systems come into conflict and then we have the current world conflicts! One may assume that maybe belief systems are bad judging from the results of these conflicting belief systems. But maybe it's not the beliefs that are the problem but the conflict itself.
We all understand or should understand that the universe controls our destiny as we are, for all practical purposes, made up of the universal elements. Our very atomic structure is universal. So why not look to the universe for the answers to the aforementioned conflict. How does the universe deal with conflict? The answer is devastating, both conflicting entities are destroyed and since matter cannot be destroyed the destroyed entities then merge into one larger entity due to the gravitational forces of the whole mass.
Are we as human beings as smart as we think we are any different?

They Got Out The Vote And The Vote Got Them Out

Yes we heard all about "Get Out The Vote". Over and over ad nauseous. The voices of hope and bright expectations mixed with those of hatred, anger, and despair. The largest voter turnout in history. Yet those who thought that the large voter turnout was for THEM where correct. It was for THEM. It was to insure that THEY where kept out of the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the White House. THEY are not what America the soul and heart really wants. THEY have become as disconnected from the average American as THEIR opponents. THEY did not get elected, BUT as I see it THEY are the opposite side of the same coin as THEM that did! So WE the average American LOST. LFFL
